KUALA LUMPUR (July 21): Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd (KL:ANEKA) has won a RM72.3 million contract to undertake piling works for a proposed data centre development in Eco Business Park V, Ijok, Selangor.

In a bourse filing on Monday, the foundation and basement construction specialist said the contract was secured from Quantum Alpha Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Eco World Development Group Bhd (KL:ECOWLD).

The job entails bored piling — a method used to create deep foundations for buildings and structures — and associated foundation works across multiple plots for a data centre facility. The facility will have office operations, electrical and mechanical service areas, water tank zones and guardhouses. Construction is slated to begin on July 28 and to be completed by Dec 27, 2025.

In a separate statement, Aneka Jaringan said the latest win brings its year-to-date project awards to RM259.21 million as of July 21, 2025.

In May, Aneka Jaringan secured a RM50.54 million contract to undertake earthworks, piling and substructure works for an apartment and hotel development project in Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur. The 18-month job commenced on June 2 this year and is to be completed on Dec 1, 2026.

Listed on the ACE Market in October 2020, Aneka Jaringan is principally involved in foundation and basement construction, as well as other civil engineering work and the rental of construction machinery and equipment.

Its shares ended unchanged at 14 sen on Monday, valuing the company at RM97.23 million.
