Silesian University of Technology has established cooperation with Accuver
Cooperation with a global leader in testing, optimization and analysis of wireless networks is a support for the 5G network laboratory located at the University. The partnership between the Silesian University of Technology and Accuver will include joint research and didactic projects related to the development of 5G technologies, implemented at the Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science.
Accuver is a recognized provider of testing and optimization tools for telecommunications networks, whose offer includes solutions dedicated to field tests (drive tests), laboratory automation, advanced big data analytics, support for DSS, small cell, private networks and mmWave. The company operates globally serving customers in more than 50 countries, including Poland.
The 5G lab, which was launched by Nokia in 2023, has gained new opportunities through the integration of advanced Accuver software. The expanded infrastructure will enable not only testing under controlled laboratory conditions, but also to reproduce realistic 5G scenarios in the dynamic environment of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things (IoT). The scope of cooperation includes, among others, providing Accuver software for students and employees of the university, creating test and teaching environments and supporting teaching and research laboratories.
Thanks to the cooperation with Accuver, Silesian University of Technology strengthens its position as a Research University, which actively supports innovation and prepares staff for the modern technology sector. The 5G Network Lab is a place of practical learning and interdisciplinary research, open to the needs of students, scientists and industrial partners, and together with the new software, it will be even more actively supporting the development of 5G networks in science and industry.
