FLINT — Joseph Dewey Cooper passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025, in Flint, Texas. Joe was born on May 2,1955 in Fort Smith Arkansas to Dewey Quiller Cooper and Sarah June (Bell).
Joe was a professional Auto CAD piping designer for many oil and gas clients, through Southwest Design Services and sought out and respected for his work from beginning to completion of each project.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathleen Cooper; son, Brock Cooper; daughters, Jennifer Cooper, Audrey Cooper (Jeremy Copley-Wood) their mother Melodie Cameron; step-son Sean Carlisle; sister Rebecca Arnold, 11 grandchildren, Andreas, Janice, Dylan and Declan Cooper; Haley and Elyssa Welle, Nadia Christian and Adriana Pena, Jeremy and Conner Copley-Wood; nieces Sarah, Rachael and Julie Arnold, family friend Robyn Phillips; uncle Mike Bell; aunt Maritta Bell Stone; and many cousins.
Joe was predeceased by his parents.
