KATRA: SMVDU Students presented a research paper at the International Conference on Advances in CivilEngineering and Sustainability held at Sharda University, Greater Noida. Mr. Durgesh Kumar and Mr. Deepesh Kumar students from the 3rd year B.Tech, School of Civil Engineering(SoCE) of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), showcased their work at theInternational Conference on Advances in Civil Engineering and Sustainability held at ShardaUniversity, Greater Noida.
The conference brought together scholars and experts from leading national and international institutions, including IITs, IISc, and NITs. Mr. Durgesh Kumar presented a paper titled “Assessment of hybrid treatment system for sustainable Grey Water reuse,” co-authored with Mr. Sunish Kumar Singh. Simultaneously, Mr. Deepesh Kumar presented his paper titled “Reason impact and method of dampness on Residential Building in Urban Area”, co-authored with Mr. Amit Kumar.
Both research papers were completed under the guidance of Dr. Rahul Sharma, Assistant professor, SoCE and Dr. Vaibhav Sapkal, Assistant Professor, SoCE. The researchreceived widespread appreciation from academicians, industry experts, and internationaldelegates for its originality, relevance, and strong practical applicability. Moreover, Mr.Deepesh Kumar received the best paper award in the conference.
The conference offered thestudents a valuable platform to engage with international researchers, share ideas, and explorethe latest developments shaping modern engineering and technological innovation. The ViceChancellor, Prof. Pragati Kumar, and the Head of SoCE, Dr. V. K. Dogra, along with facultymembers, congratulated the students and their supervisor for their commendableachievement.
