Monitoring Construction Progress Based on 4D BIM Technology – IOPscience
Abstract

With the development of building information model (BIM), the new theory and technology of project management are developing continuously. The purpose of this project is to combine BIM and 4D technology on the basis of existing construction management theory and intelligent construction concept, and effectively solve the “information island” phenomenon in the construction process. Realize the optimization of construction progress and real-time perception and control of actual construction progress. Using database theory to study the innovation of this technology will enrich the theory and method of project process management and promote the research and application of new information technology in construction industry. Using new methods to improve the level of project management is conducive to improving the construction efficiency of the project.
