Williams International is planning to construct a gas turbine engine manufacturing campus on a site at the Shoal River Ranch Gigasite in Crestview. The three-phased project’s scope includes construction of multiple buildings totaling approximately 750,000 sq ft; and purchase and installation of cranes/hoists and casting, machining, welding, assembly, painting and testing equipment and systems. The plant will be used to produce aviation gas turbine engines. Carlson Design Group has been selected to provide architectural and civil engineering services and Walbridge will provide construction services. Phase I, construction of the first 250,000-sq-ft building, is expected to begin in late 2025. Phase II is expected to begin in 2028 and Phase III in 2035 or 2036. North Carolina 

JetZero is planning to construct an aircraft assembly plant at the Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro. Scope includes design and construction of building space; and purchase and installation of cranes/hoists, parts storage and composite fabrication equipment, laying/placement machines, ovens, autoclaves, CNC machines, jigs, assembly fixtures and tooling. Construction is expected to start in the first or second quarter of 2026. JetZero will use the plant to produce low-emission aircraft for commercial, freight and military applications. Oklahoma

CBC Global Ammunition plans to construct an ammunition manufacturing plant at MidAmerica Industrial Park in Pryor. Project scope includes construction of building space; installation of presses and annealing, inspection, loading, assembly, weighing and packing equipment; and purchase and installation of conveyors, reactors, storage tanks, boilers, heat exchangers and separation, washing, drying, finishing, dust collection and packaging equipment and systems. Fritz Werner Industrie-Ausrüstungen GmbH and New Lachaussée s.a. will provide major equipment. Construction is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.
