The proliferation of digital tools used on projects has helped improve many aspects of delivery, but it also presents challenges when bringing this data together for project decisions and eventual handover to the client when the project concludes.

Data handover at project completion is a pressing issue right now. New British Standards are being drawn up this year for data handover to client organisations and facilities or maintenance managers – standards that are planned for inclusion in government tender requirements soon after.

To help industry understand this better, NCE is pleased to present a special webinar in partnership with Evi File, the providers of software that integrates and quality assures data from diverse sources.

With guests from AtkinsRéalis and the British Standards Institution, we will examine the role data-integration plays not only in improving handover of data, but also enabling real-time data management for more effective delivery.

We will discuss:

  • How can industry ensure data quality and compatibility from across multiple sources, so as to drive more effective delivery?
  • With new BSI standards for data-handover being developed, how big a challenge is the use of disparate platforms that do not communicate with one another?
  • As client organisations demand greater attention paid to data-handover upon completion, just how big a challenge will it be to ensure diverse contractors on site provide the data needed in a form that can be best used for years to come?
